Location is a major factor to consider when it comes to specialist glazing. Temperatures, rainfall, and hurricane risk can all affect which bespoke glazing solutions are best suited for the project.
IQ’s wide range of glazing systems and technical glazing solutions allows us to manufacture glazing tailored to suit the project location.
Glazing Specialists for Luxury Locations
For warmer climates, considerations such as solar control and ventilation will be of higher importance than for colder climates or locations with less exposure to sunlight. Solar control coatings can be applied to any of IQ’s insulated glazing solutions.
For colder climates, specialist glazing solutions such as triple glazing or heated glass would be recommended for higher thermal performance values. Heated glass can be especially useful in locations with high snowfall as it can be used to prevent snow build-up which may obstruct views or the flow of natural light.
In locations with a risk of hurricanes, we would recommend hurricane-resistant glazing, and as all of IQ’s glazing solutions are manufactured completely bespoke, many of our systems can be specified as hurricane-resistant glazing solutions. This includes hurricane-resistant sliding doors and even hurricane-resistant structural glazing.
Our wide range of bespoke glazing systems allows us to manufacture and install glazing anywhere in the world with performance values that are tailored to the climate and surroundings.
